In a notable uptick, gold prices in Jordan saw a significant increase on Thursday. According to the Jewelers Syndicate, the price of 21-carat gold, the most popular choice among consumers, rose by 60 piasters per gram.
The new rate for 21-carat gold now stands at JD 48.40 for sale and JD 46.40 for purchase.
The price of 24-carat gold also experienced a rise, reaching JD 55.80 for sale and JD 53.40 for purchase. In contrast, the price of 18-carat gold remained stable at JD 43.40 for sale and JD 39.90 for purchase.
These changes reflect the latest trends in the local market, influencing both jewelers and consumers.
